The Passive-Aggressive Instigation of a Beta Alpha Prophyte: Antagonizing Me After Speaking Up

A Follow-Up to the Beta Alpha Legal Review: Camille Baker, Legacy Privilege, Instagram Shade, and the Preservation of Evidence

Events Discussed: Approximately October 5–8, 2026

1. First of All, Nobody Was Talking About You

Let me make something very fucking clear.

One thing I have learned throughout my experiences with certain members of Beta Alpha is that some women will watch your social media, interpret whatever they want, and then try to make themselves the center of a situation that was never about them.

And that is exactly how I felt about my recent interaction with Camille Baker, a Beta Alpha prophyte.

Around October 5–7, 2026, I noticed Camille viewing my Instagram stories. Shortly afterward, an issue developed concerning something she apparently interpreted as a reference to her.

Girl, what?

The issue was a song I posted: “Roll Call” by Asian Doll.

Camille promotes an event in Tampa called Shibuya, and the similarity between that name and the familiar “Shabooya” chant appeared to become a point of contention.

Bitch, nobody was talking about your event.

I was listening to music.

What I find frustrating about certain interactions within Beta Alpha is this habit of turning somebody else’s expression into an alleged personal insult.

Everything is not about you.

And just because you watched my Instagram story does not mean you get to decide what I meant when I posted it.

“My music is not your invitation to insert yourself into my life.”

2. Asian Doll’s “Roll Call” Was Out Long Before This Situation

Let’s establish the music history.

Asian Doll released “Roll Call” on April 8, 2020, as part of her Doll SZN Reloaded project.

That was more than six years before this October 2026 disagreement.

The “Shabooya Roll Call” expression also belongs to a much older cultural tradition.

So why would somebody automatically assume that a song I played was directed at their event?

I am a rapper.

I listen to rap music.

I reference songs, lyrics, and cultural moments all the time.

And I am not about to start asking my line sisters for permission to post a song because somebody might get in their feelings.

“Not every song is a subliminal. Not every Instagram story is a personal message. And not every woman expressing herself is thinking about another woman.”

That is one of the central points I have repeatedly made in my previous Beta Alpha commentary.

People should stop assuming that every artistic reference, lyric, or social media post is a coded message about them.

3. Camille Baker, I Already Told You I Didn’t Have an Issue With You

Camille, let’s be clear.

I already communicated that I did not have an issue with you.

I even explained that some of my line sisters were intimidating to me in college because I did not know them well.

I was being straightforward.

So from my perspective, the way this music situation developed felt passive-aggressive and unnecessary.

What I do not appreciate is somebody interpreting my actions as shade, receiving clarification, and leaving me feeling as though I still have to defend myself.

That is what I mean when I talk about the mind games I believe have characterized certain interactions in my Beta Alpha experience.

I am not claiming to know what is happening in Camille’s mind.

But I am entitled to say that the interaction left me feeling as though my intentions were being questioned for no legitimate reason.

“Nobody is scared to have a direct conversation with you, Camille.”

If there is an issue, communicate it.

But I am not going to sit here and pretend that a six-year-old Asian Doll song suddenly became about your Tampa event because you interpreted it that way.

4. October 7, 2026, Between 2:30–3:30 P.M.: Speaking Out About Beta Alpha and the Instagram Shade

Now, this is where I want parents, future members of Alpha Kappa Alpha, and young women attending Florida A&M University to pay close attention.

Around the time I was publicly discussing my experiences with Beta Alpha and explaining why parents should prepare their daughters for the possibility of social exclusion, legacy privilege, passive-aggressive behavior, and unhealthy organizational politics, I observed another situation that raised concerns for me.

On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at approximately 2:30–3:30 p.m., Camille Baker began posting Instagram story content that I interpreted as passive-aggressive shade.

The Instagram stories were screen-recorded for documentation.

And this is exactly why I have been encouraging parents to pay attention to what their children may experience when entering Greek-letter organizations.

Because sometimes the challenge is not the organization’s stated principles.

Sometimes it is the behavior of individual members who confuse seniority, popularity, family legacy, or social influence with the right to antagonize another person.

“This is the weird shit I have been talking about. You have women who want to represent sisterhood, legacy, Black excellence, and FAMU, but when somebody speaks about their personal experiences, suddenly everything becomes an opportunity for shade, assumptions, and unnecessary drama.”

I cannot independently establish whether Camille’s posts were directed toward me. But the timing, combined with our other interactions, is why I interpreted the situation the way I did.

5. October 7, 2026, at 7:19 P.M.: I Reached Out About a Collaboration

Now, here is the part that makes this entire situation particularly frustrating.

On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at approximately 7:19 p.m., I contacted Camille about the possibility of another Shibuya event taking place in November.

Why?

Because I am involved with a Tampa-area run club, and I thought there might be an opportunity for the local fitness community to collaborate with her event.

That was my intention.

Not drama.

Not shade.

Not trying to compete with anybody.

And certainly not trying to insert myself into somebody else’s business.

For somebody who promotes Tampa and community engagement, I thought it was reasonable to ask about a potential collaboration.

But this is what I mean when I say some people want to present themselves as being so Black, so FAMU, so HBCU, and so community-oriented, yet ordinary communication can become unnecessarily complicated.

I am not saying Camille has an obligation to collaborate with me.

She does not.

But I am saying that Black excellence should include the ability to communicate without turning every interaction into a personal conflict.

6. October 7, 2026, at 11:58 P.M.: The Instagram Call

Camille did not respond to my 7:19 p.m. message before the late-night call.

Instead, at approximately 11:58 p.m. on October 7, 2026, I received an Instagram call from her.

And then there were the Instagram stories.

Let me make something clear.

I was not aware of those posts when I initially reached out about the November event lineup.

So imagine contacting somebody about an opportunity for Black community collaboration, receiving no written response, and then discovering a late-night Instagram call and social media content that, from your perspective, appears to be throwing shade.

Girl, what the fuck?

“This is exactly the kind of passive-aggressive bullshit I have been talking about when discussing my experiences with Beta Alpha. Some people will smile in the name of sisterhood, watch your social media, and then have you wondering whether they are trying to turn an ordinary interaction into a problem. That is not the sisterhood I signed up for.”

What makes this particularly frustrating is that I had already spoken publicly about my experiences within Beta Alpha.

I had already discussed the importance of documentation, accountability, and the emotional consequences of feeling isolated or misrepresented.

And now, after speaking up, I found myself questioning whether another interaction was becoming unnecessarily antagonistic.

“This is what I mean when I talk about nasty getback in the name of letters. I am not saying I can read anybody’s mind. I am saying that when somebody responds to an opportunity for community collaboration in a way that feels like shade, I have every right to question the behavior. You cannot preach sisterhood and community while making another woman feel belittled for simply reaching out.”

7. October 8, 2026, at 8:15 A.M.: Discovering the Instagram Stories

On Thursday, October 8, 2026, at approximately 8:15 a.m., I became aware of Instagram story posts that I interpreted as passive-aggressive, including messaging about peace, love, and calling the police.

I interpreted some of the timing and messaging as potentially connected to our earlier interaction.

However, I cannot confirm that those posts were about me.

And that distinction is important.

Because what I will not tolerate is the suggestion that I am somehow a threat simply because I expressed disagreement, played a song, or wrote an article.

I have not communicated any intention to disrupt Camille’s event.

I have not asked anybody to confront her.

And I am not interested in showing up somewhere to participate in unnecessary drama.

If someone wants to promote peace and love at an event, that is perfectly reasonable.

But do not assume that I am the person who needs that message.

“Nobody was coming to your event to start anything. Nobody was threatening you. I was minding my motherfucking business.”

That is my position.

8. October 8, 2026: Blocking Camille Baker, Deleting the Messages, and Preserving the Record

After viewing Camille Baker’s Instagram stories at approximately 8:15 a.m., I made the personal decision to block and remove her from my Instagram account.

I also deleted the Instagram direct-message conversation from my account.

Let me be very clear: the messages were deleted on AyeDNicole’s behalf after I decided to block Camille. That does not establish whether copies remain available through Camille’s account or Meta’s records.

My decision to block her was about establishing a boundary and ending communication that I no longer wanted to entertain.

Now, since there were references to calling the police in the Instagram stories I viewed, let me address that too.

“Camille, if you want to call the cops, then show them the whole situation. Show them this article. Show them the messages. Show them the Instagram stories. Show them the 7:19 p.m. message where I was trying to discuss a November community collaboration, and show them why you decided to call me at approximately 11:58 p.m. Nobody was threatening you. Nobody was coming for your event. I was minding my motherfucking business.”

And while we’re at it, let’s talk about accountability.

“Don’t present one side of a disagreement and leave out the communications that explain how everything started. If you believe I did something wrong, present the full context. Because I have no problem standing behind what I actually said and did.”

The Instagram stories that I viewed on October 8, 2026, are intended to be preserved as part of my documentation. I also intend to retain any remaining call records, screenshots, timestamps, and relevant communications.

Because the direct messages were deleted from my account, I will not claim to possess an intact copy of that conversation unless one is recovered or otherwise available.

And one more thing:

“I do not care about anybody trying to use their letters, their mama’s legacy, their money, or their connections to make me feel intimidated. Nobody is scared of you, Camille. I reached out about an event. You did not respond to the message, and I later discovered content that I interpreted as passive-aggressive. I am entitled to speak about that experience.”

9. The Need for Validation: Why I Question the Timing

Another issue I want to address is what I perceive as an attempt to insert herself into a conversation that originally did not concern her.

Camille Baker was not named in my previous Beta Alpha legal review.

So why did our interaction begin to feel like another confrontation after I spoke publicly about my experiences?

From my perspective, I began questioning whether the situation was becoming an opportunity to gain validation from other line sisters or establish a narrative about me.

“Sometimes I wonder whether certain people are so concerned about proving a point to their line sisters that they forget how to have a normal conversation. Why does everything have to become a competition? Why does another woman’s decision to speak up have to turn into somebody else’s opportunity to be seen, supported, or validated?”

I do not know whether Camille feels accepted by her line sisters, and I cannot claim that a need for validation motivated her actions.

But I can question the communication, the timing, and the behavior I personally observed.

“I do not need an audience to validate my experiences. I do not need to convince a group of women to dislike somebody before I can stand behind what I said. And I certainly do not need to turn somebody else’s Instagram story into a personal attack just to have something to discuss.”

10. Legacy, Money, and Humanity: My Message to Camille Baker

Camille, let me tell you something.

I do not care how much money somebody has, how flashy their lifestyle appears, who their parents know, or how many generations of Alpha Kappa Alpha are in their family.

None of that impresses me when it comes to character.

I judge people by how they treat others.

“You can have all the money in the world and still fail to demonstrate humanity. You can have the connections, the letters, the events, and the social status, but none of that makes you better than the next Black woman. When somebody comes to you with an opportunity to collaborate, why turn the interaction into something that feels like a competition? That is the kind of behavior I associate with ego, greed, and self-interest rather than genuine community service.”

I am not claiming to know Camille’s private financial situation or what she values internally.

But I am entitled to criticize conduct that I experience as dismissive, antagonistic, or unnecessarily competitive.

Because from where I stand, this situation illustrates a larger problem.

Some people want the recognition associated with Black excellence without consistently demonstrating the humility and cooperation that should accompany it.

And I am tired of seeing sisterhood treated like a social ranking system.

“Nobody gives a fuck about your mama’s legacy in AKA when the conversation is about how you personally treat people. Your mother’s letters cannot communicate for you. Your family’s money cannot make you sisterly. And your connections do not give you authority over another grown woman’s voice.”

11. FAMU, Black Excellence, and the Problem With Performative Sisterhood

As a Florida A&M University alumna, I take HBCU culture seriously.

I believe Black excellence requires more than wearing school colors, attending events, or promoting sisterhood when it is convenient.

It requires accountability.

It requires emotional maturity.

It requires understanding that women from different economic backgrounds, family structures, and life experiences deserve equal respect.

And it requires recognizing that another Black woman’s success or independence is not a personal insult.

One of my longstanding concerns about my Beta Alpha experience is that I have sometimes felt unsupported, misunderstood, or excluded.

Those are my experiences, and I have the right to discuss them.

What I will not do is pretend every interaction was positive simply to protect the appearance of an organization.

“You cannot preach sisterhood publicly while refusing to have difficult conversations privately.”

That is the contradiction I want young women considering Greek-letter organizations to recognize.

12. The Previous Beta Alpha Legal Review and My Continuing Documentation

This editorial follows my earlier commentary concerning my experiences with Beta Alpha, including matters I have associated with Brooksy and what I describe as approximately eleven years of reputational concerns, interpersonal conflict, and perceived social exclusion.

Those matters remain separate from the present Instagram disagreement unless evidence establishes a connection.

For clarity, my previous legal review did not identify Camille Baker as a subject of the allegations I discussed.

My concerns involving Camille arise from this separate interaction.

I intend to preserve relevant communications and records, including:

  • Instagram direct messages and their timestamps, to the extent records remain available.
  • My original music-related Instagram posts.
  • Screen recordings of the October 7 Instagram stories.
  • Public event announcements and social media captions.
  • My October 7, 7:19 p.m. communication concerning a possible Tampa collaboration.
  • The October 7, 11:58 p.m. Instagram call record.
  • My October 8, 8:15 a.m. discovery of the stories.
  • Any direct statements identifying me or making allegations about my conduct.
  • Relevant records from my previously documented Beta Alpha experiences.

I am not declaring that a crime, defamation, retaliation, or harassment has legally occurred based on these interactions alone.

I am reserving the right to have documented conduct evaluated by qualified legal counsel if circumstances warrant.

13. Formal Documentation Notice — Tampa, Florida

Subject: October 5–8, 2026, Instagram Communications and Concerns Regarding Potential Future Interference

This section serves as a record of my concerns regarding recent communications involving Camille Baker.

I intend to preserve relevant Instagram messages, social media posts, screenshots, dates, and other available records.

Given my previous experiences, I consider the possibility of future misunderstandings, false allegations, or professional interference a matter that warrants careful documentation.

I am not declaring Camille Baker a legally established threat or asserting that she has committed a crime.

However, I am documenting my concerns so that any future conduct can be evaluated based on evidence rather than speculation.

Should anyone knowingly make false factual statements about me, threaten me, or unlawfully interfere with my professional or business activities, I reserve the right to seek appropriate legal advice and remedies.

This notice is not an allegation that any such future conduct has occurred.

My existing documentation concerning Brooksy and other historical Beta Alpha matters remains separate unless evidence supports a connection.

“I will not use my music, my businesses, or my social media presence as a reason to surrender my right to protect my reputation.”

14. A Message to Parents Preparing Their Daughters for Greek Life

Parents, this is why I encourage you to prepare your daughters before they enter any Greek-letter organization.

Teach them that legacy status does not determine someone’s character.

Teach them to preserve important communications, document concerning incidents, and recognize the difference between healthy disagreement and repeated mistreatment.

Teach them that they do not have to participate in social cliques to deserve respect.

And most importantly, teach them that joining an organization does not mean surrendering their individuality.

“Your daughter should never have to shrink herself to make another soror feel important. She should never have to accept disrespect because somebody’s mama was an AKA before she was born. And she should never have to be afraid to speak about her experiences simply because somebody might get offended.”

That is why I continue to write.

That is why I continue to document.

And that is why I believe accountability must exist alongside sisterhood.

15. A Lesson to Young Women: Never Use Passive-Aggressive Instigation to Insert Yourself Into Someone Else’s Experience

To the young women of Florida A&M University, future members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and young ladies considering any Divine Nine organization, I want you to understand something.

Never become the woman who sees somebody speaking about her experiences and decides to insert herself into the situation just to make herself relevant.

If another woman is speaking about mistreatment, social isolation, hazing, reputational harm, or disappointment within an organization, that is her experience to articulate.

You do not have to agree with everything she says.

You do not have to support every conclusion she reaches.

But what you should never do is engage in passive-aggressive behavior, manipulate unrelated social media activity, or attempt to build a case against someone simply because her decision to speak publicly makes you uncomfortable.

And having a mother, grandmother, or other relative who belongs to the organization does not change that.

“Your mama being an AKA does not give you a license to antagonize another soror. Your legacy does not make you the judge, jury, and executioner of somebody else’s experiences. And your family’s money or connections do not make your interpretation of another woman’s life the truth.”

I want young women to understand that genuine sisterhood requires emotional maturity.

It requires listening.

It requires accepting clarification when someone tells you that a song, statement, or social media post was not directed at you.

And it requires understanding that another woman’s decision to speak up is not automatically an invitation for you to become involved.

“Don’t be so desperate to prove a point, impress your line sisters, or protect an image that you start creating problems where there weren’t any. You cannot manipulate somebody else’s experience into your own personal storyline and then call that sisterhood.”

This is a broader lesson about conduct, not a finding that any particular individual has deliberately fabricated a case or coordinated retaliation.

Young women, learn the difference between accountability and antagonism.

Learn the difference between asking a question and making an accusation.

And learn the difference between protecting your organization’s values and protecting behavior that may contradict those values.

Your letters should never become an excuse to abandon your character.

Scripture for Reflection

Proverbs 16:28 (KJV)
“A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.”

This scripture reminds us that divisive communication, gossip, and the deliberate stirring of conflict can damage relationships.

It also reminds us to examine our own conduct before assuming the worst about someone else’s intentions.

As a Christian woman, I believe there is a difference between correcting wrongdoing and creating unnecessary conflict.

You do not have to participate in every disagreement.

You do not have to respond to every social media post.

And you certainly do not have to make another woman’s testimony about yourself.

“Before you put on your pearls, your pink and green, or start talking about your mama’s legacy, make sure you understand what it means to have character when nobody is watching. Because God is not impressed by your social status. He sees how you treat people.”

My final message to young women is simple:

Never allow your desire for acceptance, recognition, or validation to turn you into the very person another woman is speaking out against.

Let your legacy be defined by your character, not by your ability to intimidate, silence, or undermine another woman.

Sisterhood is not a competition for power. It is a responsibility to practice humanity.

16. Camille, Nobody Is Scared of You

Let me close this part out.

Camille, I am not scared of you.

I am not competing with you.

And I am not interested in arguing about who belongs in Tampa.

You can have your event.

I can have my music.

We can both live our lives.

But I am not going to accept somebody telling me that I was throwing shade when I know what I intended.

I already told you I was playing Asian Doll.

I already explained that I did not have an issue with you.

And I reached out about a possible collaboration because I thought it might benefit the community.

That is it.

If you do not want to collaborate, cool.

If you do not want to communicate, cool.

But do not expect me to apologize for intentions that were never mine.

“I said what I said. Nobody was talking about you. And I am not about to make my life smaller because somebody else interpreted a song personally.”

17. Final Words From AyeDNicole

I am a Florida A&M University graduate.

I am a businesswoman.

I am a recording artist.

I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

And I am a grown Black woman who is not going to allow anybody to define my intentions for me.

I have experienced enough situations in life where people made assumptions about who I was instead of taking the time to understand me.

That is why I document.

That is why I write.

And that is why I speak.

Because the next generation of young Black women deserves to understand that having a voice does not mean you are attacking somebody.

Sometimes you are simply telling your story.

And sometimes somebody else needs to understand that they are not the main character in it.

“Now, Shabooya Roll Call. AyeDNicole. Present.”

With love, accountability, and Rattler pride,

18. FORMAL LEGAL PRESERVATION NOTICE: CAMILLE BAKER, FAMILY INVOLVEMENT, AND POTENTIAL FUTURE INTERFERENCE

Date of Notice: October 8, 2026
Issued by: AyeDNicole
Location: Tampa, Florida
Subject: Preservation of Communications, Social Media Evidence, and Concerns Regarding Possible Retaliation or Third-Party Interference

Let me put this on the motherfucking record.

Following my decision to speak publicly about my experiences with the Beta Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, I am documenting the October 5–8, 2026, interactions involving Camille Baker.

I am also placing on record my concerns about the possibility of future involvement by Camille’s mother, father, or other individuals acting on her behalf.

“I see what feels like passive-aggressive instigation, and I am not about to sit around and wait for somebody to twist my words, involve their family, or try to create a case against me because I spoke up about my experiences. I have already dealt with enough bullshit surrounding Beta Alpha. I am preserving what I can document.”

Notice Concerning Camille Baker and Her Parents

To Camille Baker and any family members who may become involved:

I have not accused Camille’s mother or father of participating in the October 5–8 interactions. I have no established evidence that either parent has planned or undertaken action against me.

However, should either parent, Camille, or another individual become directly involved in communications concerning me, I intend to document those interactions.

“I don’t care who your mama is, who your daddy is, how much money your family has, or who you think you know. If somebody wants to involve themselves in a situation concerning me, then their actual words and actions can be documented too. Nobody’s family connections put them above accountability.”

I am particularly concerned about the possibility of my music, Instagram activity, or previous Beta Alpha legal commentary being taken out of context.

I will not characterize speculation as evidence of a coordinated plan. But I will preserve records of any future conduct that gives me a factual basis for concern.

Preservation of Evidence and Communications

This notice records my intention to preserve, where available:

  • The October 7, 2026, Instagram story screen recordings associated with the approximately 2:30–3:30 p.m. posting window.
  • My October 7, approximately 7:19 p.m., message concerning a possible November Tampa run club event collaboration.
  • The October 7, approximately 11:58 p.m., Instagram call record.
  • The Instagram stories I discovered on October 8, 2026, at approximately 8:15 a.m.
  • Any remaining records relating to the Instagram direct messages deleted from my account after blocking Camille.
  • Any future direct communications, statements, or documented interactions involving Camille or third parties concerning this dispute.
  • Relevant materials from my earlier Beta Alpha legal documentation, maintained separately unless a factual connection is established.

This is a personal preservation notice, not a court order or a legally binding litigation hold directed at Camille Baker or her parents. Any formal preservation demand should be evaluated and issued through appropriate legal counsel.

Concerning Police Involvement and False Representations

“And if anybody wants to call the cops, then show the whole motherfucking story. Show the messages. Show the call records. Show the Instagram stories. Show that I reached out about a community collaboration. Don’t leave out the context and then try to make me look like somebody who was threatening you.”

I am not threatening anyone, requesting a confrontation, or encouraging interference with any event.

I am preserving my account of what occurred and reserving the right to respond through appropriate legal channels if materially false statements, threats, or unlawful interference actually occur.

Final Statement of Preservation

“I have spoken up about Beta Alpha, and I am going to continue speaking about my experiences. I am not going to be intimidated by somebody’s letters, family legacy, financial status, or social connections. If you want to disagree with me, disagree. But don’t twist my music, my words, or my intentions into something they were never meant to be.”

This notice is intended to establish a dated record of my concerns as of October 8, 2026.

It does not establish that Camille Baker or her parents have engaged in premeditated misconduct, retaliation, conspiracy, or any other legal violation.
