AyeDNicole on Meeting Key Glock for the Second Time, Being Open to Love, Black Excellence, FAMU Law, and Why the HBIC Still Has Butterflies
By AyeDNicole | Music, Culture & Life Experiences
AyeDNicole, what was it like meeting Key Glock for the second time?
GIRLLLLLLLL! 😭😂
First of all, let me tell y’all something!
WHEN KEY GLOCK PULLED THEM PANTS UP, BABYYYYYYY!
OHHHHHH, MY GOODNESS!
LMAOOOOOO!
Now, let me tell y’all how this went down, because honey, I was having myself a GOOD TIME!
According to my engineer, it was only ONE other girl in that building who could probably see me, and baby, she could only see me because her hair was pressed out!
LMAOOOOOO! 😭🤣
Now, that’s no shade, honey! I’m just telling y’all what my engineer said!
And let me be clear about something else.
My wig was a LITTLE messed up that night!
I’m not even going to sit here and lie to y’all!
Between the concert, the excitement, moving around, and everything else, honey, that wig had been through a full eight-hour shift with no lunch break!
BUT BABY!
THE FACE CARD STILL ATE DOWN!
The lace might have been fighting for its life, but the beauty was still clocked in and collecting OVERTIME!
PERIOD! 💅🏽
Would you be open to dating Key Glock?
BABYYYY, YES! 😭💕😂
I would absolutely be open to dating Key Glock!
I mean, GOODNESS GRACIOUS! Have y’all not heard me talking about this man?!
MY MAN, MY MAN, MY MAN!
I’m like Caresha now!
LMAOOOOOO!
But seriously, I feel like the business framework for what is business is so aligned with the direction I’m pursuing that dating him wouldn’t necessarily be an issue for me.
And let me explain what I mean.
I’m not trying to date Key Glock for a baby!
I’m not trying to recreate the same baby mama storyline that we sometimes see play out in entertainment, where a woman becomes so consumed with having a successful man’s child that she forgets to establish her own identity.
I’m not trying to sit around looking like somebody’s cute little baby mama, running around with nothing else to do!
BABY, THAT’S NOT ADRIENNE!
That’s not who I am!
I have an education.
I have a career.
I have businesses.
I have my own music.
I have my own ambitions.
And I have an entire life that existed before I ever met Key Glock!
A man should complement the life I’ve built, not become the entire reason I have one.
Could you see yourself dating Key Glock while attending law school?
BABY, ABSOLUTELY!
And let me tell y’all why!
If Key Glock ever expresses an interest in dating me, I anticipate that I could be attending law school around that time.
And y’all already know my law school of choice!
FLORIDA AGRICULTURAL AND MECHANICAL UNIVERSITY!
FAMU!
THE RATTLERS!
BABYYYY, I’M A DOUBLE RATTLER! 🐍💚🧡
Now, let me clarify something before anybody starts creating a narrative.
I’m not choosing FAMU College of Law because of Key Glock!
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
My history with Florida A&M University existed long before I ever met that man.
I earned my undergraduate and graduate degrees from FAMU, and the institution has played an instrumental role in my academic development, leadership experience, and professional identity.
Returning for my Juris Doctor would be a continuation of that legacy.
My intended areas of legal study and advocacy include:
- Entertainment Law: Intellectual property, music licensing, artist representation, recording agreements, and protecting creative ownership.
- Sports Law: Supporting athletes, HBCU athletics, sports organizations, and equitable opportunities for young athletes.
- Business Law: Corporate governance, contractual protections, business formation, financial accountability, and entrepreneurship.
- Family Law Advocacy: Supporting responsible fathers, examining child-support and custody policies, and advocating for fair, child-centered legal processes.
- Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights: Addressing discriminatory practices and strengthening access to fair treatment in education, employment, and business.
- Community and Institutional Development: Supporting HBCUs, Black-owned enterprises, and cultural and economic initiatives.
And let’s not forget about The BLACK OVAL, which is being developed under Floyd & Ivory Partners.
We’re working through documentation, organizational processes, and the business framework right now.
Additional information will be articulated publicly as I see fit.
But the broader purpose involves education, community development, business infrastructure, policy advocacy, and opportunities benefiting Black and Afro-descendant communities.
So when I talk about dating Key Glock, I’m not talking about putting my entire future on hold for a relationship!
I’m talking about two people potentially maintaining their respective careers while supporting each other’s growth.
Would Key Glock’s music career interfere with your law school education?
Honestly, I don’t believe it necessarily would.
That man WORKS!
And baby, SO DO I!
LMAOOOOOO! 😭😂
He’s recording music, performing, handling business, and developing his career.
Meanwhile, I would be attending law school, studying, developing my professional portfolio, continuing my music, and strengthening my businesses.
I don’t need somebody sitting beside me every second of the day!
And I certainly don’t want to interfere with a man’s ability to work.
What matters to me is communication, consistency, trust, and mutual respect.
If he were genuinely interested in building something with me, I believe we could discuss how to balance those responsibilities.
Because being busy doesn’t automatically make two people incompatible.
Sometimes it simply means both people understand the importance of having a purpose!
And I believe that could be a beautiful thing.
How would Florida, Atlanta, Memphis, and your family influence a potential relationship?
Something else I think about is geography.
I currently have my life established in Florida, and I want to remain reasonably close to my parents.
That’s important to me!
My family matters.
My father served 28 years in the United States Navy and retired as a Master Chief.
My upbringing taught me the importance of discipline, family, respect, and long-term planning.
I also have meaningful personal and professional connections to Atlanta and Memphis.
Atlanta is important to my artistic development and business interests.
Memphis is meaningful because of my family roots, cultural connections, and the history associated with Paper Route Empire.
So when I think about my future, I don’t necessarily envision being confined to one city.
I envision having the flexibility to manage my responsibilities while maintaining meaningful relationships across those locations.
And if Key Glock and I ever developed a relationship, I believe that geographical balance could be something worth discussing.
Not because I expect him to rearrange his entire career around me!
And not because I would abandon mine!
But because two people who genuinely want to be together can work toward arrangements that respect both lives.
What happened when Key Glock approached you that night?
Baby, LISTEN!
This was my SECOND time meeting Key Glock, so I was already excited to see him again.
But what made this particular moment so memorable was how he approached me.
Because WHY did this man come up to me, pull them pants up, and LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT?!
OHHHHHHHH! 😭😂💕
Now, I don’t know what he was thinking, and I’m not going to sit here and tell y’all that man was flirting with me because I cannot speak for him.
BUT I CAN SPEAK FOR ME!
And baby, I was BLUSHING!
I’m talking about the kind of blushing where you’re trying to maintain your composure because you’re a grown woman, you’re educated, you’re professional, and you have businesses to run.
But internally?
“GIRL, GET YOURSELF TOGETHER!” 😭🤣
Because honey, the way he pulled them pants up and looked at me caught me completely off guard!
And sometimes it’s the smallest gestures that make a moment memorable.
What made the photographs so special?
OH, BABY!
First of all, shout out to the lady on his team who captured that moment!
Because HONEY!
You will NEVER see that exact moment anywhere else!
Nobody else has those photographs!
NOBODY!
Those are MY pictures from MY personal experience meeting Key Glock for the second time.
And what I appreciate about them is that they captured something that wasn’t rehearsed, staged, or planned.
It was just a natural moment.
He came up, adjusted his pants, looked at me, and the camera caught it!
And baby, when I looked back at those photographs?
I said, “Oh, this is CUTE cute!”
LMAOOOOOO! 😭💕
I don’t have to invent a romantic storyline to appreciate a good interaction.
I can admire a handsome man, enjoy a beautiful moment, and still conduct myself like the lady I am.
But am I going to act like he didn’t make me blush?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Because he DID!
What do you remember most about watching Key Glock perform?
BABYYYYYYY!
I remember that night so vividly!
I remember just standing there, gazing at that man and watching how he took control of the ENTIRE crowd!
The confidence!
The stage presence!
The way he commanded everybody’s attention without having to do too much!
OHHHH, MY GOODNESS!
I was just looking at him like:
“Lord, have mercy. Look at that man!” 😭😂
He’s just an amazing person from what I’ve experienced, and I genuinely love and appreciate that man!
THAT’S MY MAN!
MY MAN!
MY MAN!
I’m like Caresha now!
MY MAN, MY MAN, MY MAN!
LMAOOOOOO! 😭🤣💕
Now, don’t y’all go running off saying I announced a relationship, because that’s not what I’m saying!
I’m talking about my celebrity crush, honey!
Let me have my little moment!
Is it true that Key Glock makes your Gullah Geechee accent come out?
GIRLLLLLLLL! 😭💕
YES!
That man makes my GEECHEE come out!
OHHHHHH, BABY!
When I start talking about Key Glock, I get so SOFT!
I’m talking about my whole voice changes!
That Gullah Geechee accent starts coming out, and honey, I can’t even help it!
My Charleston roots just start showing!
One minute, I’m AyeDNicole, the HBIC, talking business, music, corporate strategy, and making sure everything is handled professionally.
The next minute?
I’m over here smiling, giggling, talking all sweet with my Gullah Geechee coming out like:
“Ooooooh, look at that maaaan, honey!” 😭😂💕
LMAOOOOOO!
Girl, WHAT IS GOING ON?!
I’m supposed to be BIG 5!
I’m supposed to be the HBIC!
I’m supposed to be keeping it together!
But that man gets me all soft and sweet!
And I LOVE IT!
I love that man so much, honey!
There’s something about watching somebody genuinely enjoy their craft and seeing how much energy they bring to a room.
I admire that.
And YES, I admire how handsome he is, too!
Let’s not act brand-new!
Because the same man I was gazing at onstage was the man who later came up to me, pulled them pants up, and looked at me like THAT!
NOW DO Y’ALL UNDERSTAND WHY I WAS BLUSHING?! 😭🤣💕
What is it about Key Glock’s personality that complements yours?
Now THIS is where it gets interesting! 😭😂💕
From what I’ve personally observed, Key Glock carries himself with a naturally dominant, masculine presence.
And I LIKE THAT!
I perceive him as somebody with strong alpha-male energy.
And baby, y’all already know I’m an ALPHA WOMAN!
LMAOOOOOO!
I’m independent.
I’m educated.
I’m outspoken.
I’m business-minded.
And I’m accustomed to handling my responsibilities without waiting for somebody else to do it for me.
But that doesn’t mean I want to be masculine in my romantic relationships.
I’m a feminine woman who has learned to be independent because life required me to develop those skills.
There’s a difference!
And I believe a secure, confident man can complement a strong woman without trying to diminish her.
My father established an example of masculine leadership in my life through discipline, consistency, responsibility, and service.
I’ve also dated men with strong, confident personalities, so I’m familiar with that dynamic.
What I appreciate is the possibility of being with a man whose confidence allows me to relax, be softer, and express my femininity without feeling like I have to manage everything myself.
Not because he controls me.
Not because he silences me.
And definitely not because I surrender my independence!
But because I trust him enough to share responsibilities and allow myself to be vulnerable.
A woman can be powerful in business and soft in love!
And honey, THAT’S ME!
I can be the HBIC in the boardroom, handle my financial statements, negotiate contracts, study law, and run my companies.
But when I’m around a man I genuinely admire?
OHHHHHH, HONEY!
Here comes that Gullah Geechee again!
“Ooooooh, look at that maaaan!” 😭🤣💕
And baby, if y’all saw the way I was blushing when Key Glock pulled them pants up, then you already know!
LMAOOOOOO!
Could you see Key Glock as a potential husband?
OHHHHHH, BABY! 😭💕
Now y’all are REALLY trying to get my Gullah Geechee to come out!
LMAOOOOOO!
But yes, I could see him as somebody I would be interested in getting to know with the possibility of a serious relationship.
And if that relationship developed naturally, mutually, and genuinely, I wouldn’t be opposed to marriage.
I believe in building something that has substance.
Something that isn’t staged.
Something that isn’t built around publicity.
Something that isn’t dependent on having a baby to keep two people connected.
And no shade to the mother of his child!
I’m not here to speak negatively about her relationship with him or their parenting responsibilities.
Those are their personal matters.
But I have my own standards, and I know how I would want to approach a relationship.
I want a man who genuinely chooses me.
Not because of a pregnancy.
Not because of financial dependency.
Not because of public pressure.
But because he appreciates who I am as a woman!
And I would want to choose him for the same reasons.
Marriage should be about two people making a mutual commitment, not one person trying to secure permanent access to another through parenthood.
And baby, I stand on that!
Do you believe your education could help Key Glock grow?
Absolutely!
But let me articulate something.
I don’t believe education should ever be used to belittle a man.
Especially a man who has already demonstrated that he understands how to build a successful career through his own talent, discipline, and experiences.
Key Glock has accomplished things that deserve respect.
And I would never want to make him feel as though my academic background makes me superior to him.
That’s not partnership!
That’s arrogance!
What I do believe is that my education and professional background could offer additional perspectives in areas such as financial management, business strategy, contracts, asset protection, and long-term planning.
And I would want to learn from him, too!
Because formal education isn’t the only form of intelligence.
Experience matters.
Entrepreneurship matters.
Creative instincts matter.
And the ability to navigate the music industry successfully requires knowledge that cannot always be learned inside a classroom.
I believe a strong relationship allows both people to become students and teachers to one another.
That’s what I mean by helping a man grow.
Not changing who he is.
Not controlling him.
Not trying to become his mother!
LMAOOOOOO! 😭😂
But being a woman who can genuinely contribute something meaningful to his life while appreciating what he brings to mine.
How could your HBCU background complement Key Glock’s upbringing?
Now, THIS is something I really want people to understand!
I am a Florida A&M University graduate.
A DOUBLE RATTLER!
I earned my degrees, developed my professional background, and learned the importance of leadership, financial accountability, education, and community service.
Key Glock comes from a different educational and life background.
And I don’t look down on that!
I believe different backgrounds can complement one another beautifully.
His Memphis roots, musical talent, professional discipline, and experiences are valuable in their own right.
But I also believe a woman with my HBCU background could bring another dimension to a relationship.
Not because a man needs to be rescued or transformed into somebody else, but because two people can help each other grow.
When I think about Beyoncé and Jay-Z, I think about the public example of two accomplished artists who built a family while developing significant business interests.
I admire the idea of partners helping one another elevate their lives, strengthen their assets, and protect their family.
And while none of us knows every private decision that Beyoncé and Jay-Z have made, I appreciate the broader example of partnership, business development, and long-term planning.
That’s what I mean when I talk about an UPGRADE!
Not changing a man’s identity.
Not disrespecting where he came from.
Not pretending that a college degree makes one person inherently better than another.
But introducing additional perspectives, opportunities, financial knowledge, and professional resources that could benefit both people.
A real partnership should upgrade BOTH people!
And baby, if I can bring HBCU excellence, corporate treasury knowledge, cultural awareness, and business development to a relationship while respecting everything that man has already accomplished, why wouldn’t I?!
Why do you continue emphasizing professionalism when it’s evident that you love Key Glock?
Because baby, beneath all the giggling, blushing, and my Gullah Geechee accent coming out, there is a grown woman who understands the importance of boundaries, business, and Black excellence.
Yes, I love and admire that man.
But I also respect him enough to let him be a man!
I don’t know where his mind is romantically.
I don’t know what he’s looking for, and I’m not going to pretend that I do.
That man is always WORKING!
He does what men do!
They go to WORK, honey!
And I appreciate a hardworking man.
Meanwhile, I’m doing ME!
I’m taking care of my body.
I’m reading my books.
I’m handling business.
I’m learning several foreign languages.
I’m working out.
I’m developing my music.
I’m strengthening my business infrastructure.
And I’m making sure my future is secure!
I AM A BUSINESSWOMAN!
I don’t have time to sit around and lay on my back waiting for a man to finance my existence!
And that’s where my standards come into play.
What do you mean when you say some women have established a sloppy standard around successful men?
I’m going to articulate this very carefully.
I believe some women have normalized a very sloppy standard when it comes to associating themselves with successful men in entertainment.
And baby, I’m going to say exactly how I feel!
Some of the behavior that gets celebrated doesn’t scream Black excellence to me.
It screams HOODIE!
And honey, it’s just NOT CUTE!
Now, I’m not claiming to know every woman who has ever been associated with Key Glock, and I’m not going to pretend I know the details of his private relationships.
But I know what I represent!
I believe a woman can be beautiful, educated, financially literate, culturally grounded, and still have a little sass in her mouth!
That’s the kind of representation I believe in.
I don’t believe being attached to a successful man should become somebody’s entire identity.
What happened to having your own education?
Your own career?
Your own financial independence?
Your own purpose?
Your own business infrastructure?
Baby, that’s what I want to see!
And that’s the standard I’m maintaining for myself.
Why is respecting Key Glock’s mother and family background important to you?
Something I want to articulate is the importance of respecting where a man comes from.
From what I’ve heard through my friend Ori — O-R-I — who knows Key Glock’s godmother, his mother is a sweetheart.
Now, that’s a personal account shared with me, and I don’t claim to know his mother personally.
But the way she has been described reminds me of the Southern belles I’ve grown up around, including women connected to Memphis.
Sweet women.
Strong women.
Women who understand hospitality, family, grace, and resilience.
Women who helped shape the woman I am today!
And when I think about the reported challenges his mother has experienced, including her incarceration, I don’t believe a person’s past should automatically erase their dignity or capacity for growth.
I’ve experienced a jail situation myself.
Certainly not 15 years!
But I still rose above my circumstances.
And I believe other women deserve the opportunity to grow beyond difficult chapters in their lives.
I believe in redemption.
I believe in education.
I believe in accountability.
And I believe in the opportunity to build a better life.
Your past does not have to determine your entire future!
I would never want my own life reduced to one difficult chapter, so I’m not going to reduce another woman’s life to hers.
And that’s what I mean when I talk about Black excellence.
It’s not about pretending to be perfect.
It’s about having enough character to keep growing!
Do you believe Key Glock could be your soulmate?
OHHHHHH, BABY! 😭💕
Now y’all are trying to get me all soft again!
Here comes my Gullah Geechee!
LMAOOOOOO!
I do feel like Key Glock could potentially be somebody I connect with on a deeper level.
And yes, I have wondered whether he could be my soulmate.
But I also understand that you cannot determine whether somebody is your soulmate from admiration, a few interactions, or shared connections alone.
That requires time, mutual interest, communication, and actually getting to know somebody.
And that’s why I continue emphasizing professionalism.
I don’t know where his mind is romantically!
I don’t know whether he’s interested in me that way!
And I’m not going to invent an entire love story without the other person participating!
But I can acknowledge what I feel.
And what I feel is that there are certain cultural, family, and professional connections that make me curious about what getting to know him could look like.
What role do Memphis, Young Dolph, Bino Brown, and Paper Route Empire play in your feelings?
Let me articulate something!
The family connections and information I’ve discovered involving my cousin Bino Brown, Young Dolph, and Paper Route Empire were not things I staged to create a romantic storyline.
They were personal discoveries about family and music history.
And I appreciate learning more about those connections.
I respect the legacy of Young Dolph and the opportunities he helped create for artists, including Bino Brown.
But my feelings about Key Glock aren’t solely about Paper Route Empire!
They go deeper than a record label.
I have roots in Memphis.
I have family in Memphis.
I have personal relationships with people connected to the city’s culture and community.
I have people who know of Key Glock and speak respectfully about him and his family.
My friend Ori has shared positive things about his mother through a connection with his godmother.
And while those are secondhand accounts, they remind me of the Southern women I’ve grown up respecting.
The sweet Southern belles.
The women who know how to carry themselves.
The women who understand family, faith, dignity, and resilience.
Those cultural similarities mean something to me!
Not because they guarantee romantic compatibility, but because they give me a genuine appreciation for the environment and values that may have helped shape him.
And baby, Memphis is not foreign to me!
How would your personal experiences influence the kind of partner you would be?
One thing I believe is that I understand what it means to go through difficult experiences and still maintain your dignity.
I’ve experienced professional setbacks.
I’ve experienced personal challenges.
I’ve experienced a jail situation.
And I’ve had to rebuild, refocus, and keep going!
But I don’t want to enter a relationship with somebody through trauma bonding.
I don’t want our connection to be built around everything that went wrong in our lives.
I want it to be built around everything we can do RIGHT moving forward!
As a Black woman, I believe I have the emotional maturity, cultural understanding, and life experience to support a partner without trying to control him.
And I believe that kind of support requires mutual respect.
I can be there for a man.
I can encourage him.
I can respect his independence.
I can celebrate his accomplishments.
I can understand that sometimes he’s going to be working, traveling, recording, performing, or handling business.
Because BABY, I’M WORKING TOO!
I don’t need to sit around waiting for a man to entertain me every hour of the day!
And I don’t need to compete with another woman to prove that I deserve respect.
What separates your relationship standards from the baby mama culture you’ve criticized?
Let me make something very clear!
Motherhood itself is not the problem.
There are plenty of wonderful mothers who are educated, hardworking, financially responsible, and dedicated to raising their children.
My criticism is directed toward the mentality that having a child with a successful man automatically establishes romantic control, guarantees lifelong access to his personal life, or substitutes for developing your own independence.
And I don’t subscribe to that!
I also don’t believe women should have to teach other grown women how to establish their own identities just because they’re connected to the same man or entertainment circle.
I have spent YEARS developing my education, career, business knowledge, and personal standards.
That work belongs to me.
And while I believe in mentorship and supporting other women, I am not obligated to sacrifice my boundaries or share every personal and professional resource I’ve developed.
Some things come from experience.
Some things come from education.
Some things come from discipline.
And some things come from having to figure life out for yourself!
I can’t teach somebody how to BE Adrienne Nicole!
And baby, that’s the part some people need to understand!
You can have two million followers.
You can have two million dollars.
You can have the glam, the pictures, the connections, and the attention.
But none of that makes you ME!
And I don’t need to compete with anybody to establish that.
I AM THE HBIC!
What if Key Glock is entertaining other women?
GIRLLLLLLLL! 😭😂
WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO?!
CRY?!
Stop going to the gym?!
Stop reading?!
Stop making money?!
Stop releasing music?!
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
If he’s in his little ho phase, then that’s what he’s doing!
I don’t know that man’s private business, and I’m not about to make it mine.
I’m not his girlfriend.
I’m not his wife.
And I’m not going to behave as though I have authority over his decisions.
But let me tell y’all something!
THEM HOES ARE NOT GOING TO FAZE ME!
I don’t care how much glam somebody puts on their face to go outside, only to come home and wipe that shit off!
I don’t care if somebody has two million followers!
I don’t care if somebody has two million dollars!
GOOD FOR THEM!
But baby, what does that have to do with MY life?!
A following is not a substitute for financial literacy.
Popularity is not automatically proof of business acumen.
And I’m not competing with women over who gets photographed next to a successful man!
I’m building something that belongs to ME!
And respectfully, I’m not impressed by somebody’s social media numbers when we’re discussing business infrastructure, treasury operations, working capital, and cash management.
Because honey, some people wouldn’t know where to begin with a cash management strategy if their lives depended on it!
LMAOOOOOO! 😭🤣
Now, that doesn’t mean every influencer lacks financial knowledge.
But it DOES mean I refuse to measure my worth against a follower count!
I have my own education!
My own career!
My own music!
My own businesses!
My own standards!
And my own future to protect!
Them bitches could never see me in MY lane because my lane was built around MY qualifications, MY experiences, and MY purpose!
That’s not me begging for anybody’s attention.
That’s me knowing exactly who the hell I am!
How does your career and 4HIO Label fit into your personal relationship standards?
Baby, this is where the businesswoman comes out!
Because before I ever started giggling over Mr. Glock, I was already building my own professional identity.
I have my educational background in psychology, management, and finance.
I’ve worked in corporate treasury and accounting.
I understand cash management, working capital, financial operations, and the importance of documentation.
And I’m continuing to develop my business portfolio through Floyd & Ivory Partners, Slaynetik Fitness, Experience The Drip™, and 4HIO Label.
My 4HIO Label business development is official, and I maintain my focus on its music, branding, and business infrastructure.
I’m also continuing my own artistic development while prioritizing health, fitness, education, and modeling opportunities.
I don’t need to perform every weekend to prove I’m an artist.
I don’t need to sit in a nightclub every night to prove I’m connected to entertainment.
And I certainly don’t need to attach myself romantically to a successful rapper to prove I belong in the music business!
DEGREE FIRST, MIC SECOND!
And baby, that’s not changing!
I can admire Key Glock while maintaining my own ambitions.
That’s the difference between having a crush and losing yourself over a man.
And I refuse to lose myself!
What would you want a public relationship with Key Glock to represent?
If Key Glock and I ever dated, and our relationship became public, I would want it to represent what a REAL BOSS BITCH looks like!
And I don’t mean somebody who just looks good in pictures!
I’m talking about an educated woman who understands business, family, service, accountability, financial management, and protecting what she’s building.
I’m talking about a woman who represents HBCU excellence!
A woman who can walk into a corporate boardroom, understand financial statements, develop cash management strategies, advocate for community reform, and still turn around and look beautiful beside her man!
Because baby, I CAN DO BOTH!
And something else that’s extremely important to me is my military upbringing.
My father served 28 years in the United States Navy and retired as a Master Chief.
I respect military service because I witnessed what that commitment meant inside my own family before I ever had to explain it to anybody else.
I don’t need a stage to prove that I understand service!
I grew up seeing it!
And I believe real service means protecting people, exercising integrity, maintaining discipline, and understanding the responsibility that comes with authority.
It does not mean using military experience, professional influence, or privileged information to intimidate or harm civilians.
And I don’t care who somebody is!
If you served this country, then the principles of honorable service should follow you into civilian life.
Service should be about protecting people, not weaponizing power against them.
That’s the kind of character I would want reflected in any relationship I publicly represent.
So, what would you ultimately want with Key Glock?
Something GENUINE!
That’s it!
I would want a relationship built on real chemistry, mutual attraction, respect, friendship, shared values, and authentic experiences.
Not a fake story!
Not a manufactured publicity relationship!
Not a relationship designed to make other women jealous!
Not a pregnancy intended to secure a man’s attention!
And not something built around using his name, money, or success!
I have my own identity.
I have my own goals.
And I would want him to continue having his.
If something ever developed between us, I would want us to enjoy getting to know each other as two people first.
Not just Key Glock the rapper and AyeDNicole the artist.
But two human beings who happen to have interesting backgrounds, shared cultural connections, and potentially compatible ambitions.
And if it never becomes anything romantic?
I can still respect him!
I can still appreciate his music!
I can still smile about the night I met him!
And I can STILL laugh about him pulling them pants up!
OHHHHHH, LORD! 😭😂💕
Because honey, I’m not going to lie!
That man made me BLUSH!
And when I think about that night, my whole Geechee starts coming out again!
“Ooooooh, look at that maaaan, honey!”
LMAOOOOOO!
But yes, to answer the question one more time:
WOULD I DATE KEY GLOCK?
YES!
WOULD I WANT SOMETHING REAL?
ABSOLUTELY!
WOULD I LOSE MYSELF, MY EDUCATION, MY CAREER, OR MY BUSINESS IDENTITY TO BE WITH HIM?
HELL NO!
Because a real boss woman doesn’t have to diminish herself to love a successful man.
And a successful man shouldn’t have to diminish himself to love a boss woman either.
THAT’S WHAT I CALL BLACK EXCELLENCE!
One last question: Are you STILL thinking about the night Key Glock pulled his pants up? 😭😂💕
GIRLLLLLLLL!
WHY WOULD YOU BRING THAT BACK UP?!
LMAOOOOOO! 😭🤣💕
Because YES!
I remember gazing at that man while he commanded the crowd!
I remember how handsome he looked!
I remember meeting him for the second time!
And I DEFINITELY remember him coming up to me, pulling them pants up, and looking at me like THAT!
OHHHHHH, LORD!
There goes my Gullah Geechee again!
“Ooooooh, honey, look at that maaaan!”
LMAOOOOOO!
And the lady on his team who captured those pictures?
BABY, THANK YOU!
Because that was a moment I will always appreciate!
My wig might have been a little messed up, but the FACE CARD?!
STILL ATE DOWN!
And that’s why I’m going to keep laughing about it!
Because yes, I love that man.
Yes, I admire his work ethic.
Yes, I think he’s handsome.
And yes, he makes me blush!
But I’m still AyeDNicole!
Still educated!
Still working!
Still building!
Still protecting my peace!
Still representing my Southern roots!
And still handling MY business!
Because a real HBIC can admire a KING without forgetting she’s a QUEEN!
Now, let me go finish reading my books, working on my music, learning these languages, and getting this body together!
Because honey, love is beautiful, but I still have WORK TO DO!
And if the right man comes into my life, I want him to complement everything I’m building — not become a distraction from it.
And if that man happens to be Key Glock?
OHHHHHHHH, BABY! 😭😂💕
MY MAN, MY MAN, MY MAN!
OHHHHHH, MR. GLOCK!
You done made my whole Geechee come out!
LMAOOOOOO!
SIGNED, THE HBIC WHO STILL GOT BUTTERFLIES!
