Family Legacy, Creative Ownership & the Future of Black Entertainment
October 28, 2026 | AyeDNicole.com
Floyd & Ivy™ is introducing its vision for future film, television, documentary, and entertainment productions, identifying Tyler Perry Studios as its preferred prospective production partner.
The initiative reflects Founding Executive Adrienne Floyd’s commitment to Black creative ownership, family legacy, professional accountability, and the protection of original storytelling.
We Grew Up Watching Tyler Perry
“We grew up watching Tyler Perry. Our parents loved House of Payne the most, and we love his movies. And his show Beauty in Black describes Adrienne as Mallory, dead ass! And she acts like Kimmie too. Myiah? Mallory too, she just been quiet.”
— Adrienne Floyd
For Adrienne and Myiah Floyd, Tyler Perry’s work represents years of family entertainment, cultural storytelling, and creative inspiration.
Two Distinct Entertainment Development Portfolios
1. Floyd–Griffin Entertainment Portfolio | AyeDNicole
Floyd & Ivy™ envisions developing a separate entertainment portfolio with Randall Griffin focused on AyeDNicole’s personal storytelling, original creative projects, documentaries, and prospective Netflix opportunities.
This portfolio will emphasize authorized storytelling, privacy protections, intellectual property ownership, and appropriate executive oversight.
2. 4HIO | Paper Route Empire — Film & Motion Picture Development
Separate from the Floyd–Griffin portfolio, Floyd & Ivy™ envisions developing several original motion picture projects alongside Markeyvius LaShun Cathey (Key Glock) through the established 4HIO Label | Paper Route Empire music partnership.
The proposed film initiative will explore future production opportunities with Tyler Perry Studios, including original screenplays, music-driven films, and cinematic storytelling.
This division will maintain its own creative development, production authorization, financing, and intellectual property agreements, independent of the Floyd–Griffin portfolio.
Key Glock’s proposed film participation and Tyler Perry Studios’ involvement remain subject to individual acceptance and formal production agreements.
Production Restrictions: Beta Nu & Will Packer
Floyd & Ivy™ establishes the following internal creative authorization boundaries:
- Will Packer and his affiliated production entities are not authorized to represent Floyd & Ivy™, negotiate production agreements, or develop its proprietary creative works without express written approval.
- Individuals affiliated with Beta Nu are not granted authority to represent Floyd & Ivy™ or participate in the development, licensing, or production of its proprietary projects without executive authorization.
- These restrictions reflect Adrienne Floyd’s organizational preferences and concerns regarding prior interactions. They do not constitute findings of malicious conduct or wrongdoing by any individual or fraternity chapter.
These provisions apply only to Floyd & Ivy™-controlled projects, intellectual property, and organizational representation. They do not restrict independently owned creative works or lawful activities outside the organization.
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity & Alcorn State University Disclaimer
For proposed projects involving Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Floyd & Ivy™ will prioritize communication and potential collaboration through Adrienne and Myiah Floyd’s family-connected chapter relationships at Alcorn State University.
Within Floyd & Ivy™ projects, these designated family connections will serve as the preferred liaison pathway for prospective Alpha Phi Alpha involvement.
No other chapter, fraternity member, or outside representative is authorized to negotiate, approve, or represent Alpha Phi Alpha-related participation on behalf of Floyd & Ivy™ without express written executive approval.
This internal designation does not grant Floyd & Ivy™ authority over Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., its chapters, membership, trademarks, or official operations.
All formal fraternity participation and use of protected fraternity materials remain subject to the appropriate organization’s independent authorization.
Floyd Family Privacy, Barred Members & Legal Accountability
Under the Floyd & Ivy™ governance framework, individuals formally designated on the organization’s internal barred list are excluded from unauthorized participation, representation, and business activities involving Floyd & Ivy™ and its affiliated divisions.
The Floyd family maintains firm boundaries regarding its privacy, personal affairs, business operations, and family legacy.
- Barred individuals are not authorized to speak on behalf of Adrienne Floyd, Myiah Floyd, or the Floyd family at large.
- No barred individual may falsely claim family authorization, executive representation, or permission to disclose confidential organizational information.
- Unauthorized disclosure of legally protected information, defamatory statements, harassment, threats, or misuse of proprietary materials may be referred for legal review.
- Where supported by evidence and applicable law, the Floyd family reserves the right to pursue appropriate civil remedies, including potential lawsuits.
Official Executive Statement
“The Floyd family has the right to protect its name, privacy, legacy, and business interests. Individuals who have been barred from our organization do not have permission to represent our family, speak on our behalf, or misuse our private affairs for personal or financial gain. Where legal boundaries are violated, we reserve the right to pursue appropriate action through the courts.”
— Adrienne Floyd, Founding Executive | Floyd & Ivy™
Legal Clarification: Internal barred designations do not prohibit individuals from lawfully discussing the Floyd family, expressing opinions, reporting truthful information, or exercising protected speech. Any legal proceedings would require an independent legal basis, supporting evidence, and appropriate judicial procedures.
Protecting Original Stories & Creative Ownership
“My real story is not an open invitation for people to profit from my personal experiences, private information, or identity without my knowledge and authorization.”
— Adrienne Floyd
Floyd & Ivy™ intends to protect its proprietary creative works, authorized life-story adaptations, and confidential business information.
Adrienne has raised concerns about possible misuse of personal information through third-party research and records services, including LexisNexis. These concerns require appropriate verification and legal review before conclusions about privacy violations can be established.
Building a Legacy Through Film
The broader entertainment vision seeks to expand opportunities for Black and Brown filmmakers, artists, musicians, writers, and creative executives while maintaining distinct production portfolios and responsible business governance.
“It’s about protecting what we build, choosing who we work with, and making sure our stories are told with respect. Our lives are not somebody else’s unauthorized business opportunity.”
— Adrienne Floyd, Founding Executive | Floyd & Ivy™
Additional production announcements, creative concepts, and executive developments will be disclosed gradually.
Editorial Note: Tyler Perry Studios and Netflix are prospective production and distribution opportunities. The Floyd–Griffin and Key Glock film initiatives remain proposed projects subject to the relevant individuals’ acceptance, financing, and formal agreements. No unauthorized conduct by third parties has been established in this announcement.
For the Betterment of Black & Brown Communities Worldwide.
