Atlanta, Georgia: Where the Conversation Begins

Let me make something abundantly clear.

I do not support lying, manipulation, the deliberate weaponization of the legal system, or using someone’s gender as an excuse to avoid accountability.

And I am not afraid to articulate that position.

As a woman, an artist, a Florida A&M University alumna, and an aspiring entertainment, sports, and business attorney, I believe we need a more mature conversation about how men are heard, how allegations are evaluated, and how the justice system should distinguish credible evidence from intentional deception.

That is why I am introducing my proposed Heavy On It × 4HIO Network: Free Tory Lanez — The Right to Be Heard campaign.

The proposed inaugural location?

Atlanta, Georgia.

Atlanta is home to an influential Black entertainment community, a rich HBCU culture, and generations of artists, entrepreneurs, and legal professionals who understand that music, identity, and public opinion frequently intersect.

I want this platform to begin with conversation rather than confrontation.

Not a celebrity argument.

Not a social media shouting match.

A serious, moderated opportunity for men to speak about their experiences, access educational resources, and understand their legal rights without being ridiculed or automatically dismissed.

Free Tory Lanez: My Position and the Importance of Legal Accuracy

I support Tory Lanez’s right to legal representation, lawful review of his conviction, personal dignity, and humane treatment while incarcerated.

But I also recognize the facts of his case.

Tory Lanez, legally known as Daystar Peterson, was convicted in December 2022 of three felony offenses connected to the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, legally known as Megan Pete. He received a ten-year prison sentence. His conviction was upheld by a California appellate court in November 2025, and the California Supreme Court declined review in February 2026.

Those legal decisions cannot responsibly be dismissed simply because someone supports his music or believes in further legal advocacy.

Supporting due process does not require pretending a conviction never happened.

Likewise, discussing the problem of knowingly false accusations does not establish that Megan Thee Stallion fabricated her account. I am not presenting that allegation as a fact.

My proposed campaign would instead address the broader question: How can the justice system remain responsive to victims while also protecting individuals from deliberate falsehoods, improper procedures, and unfair treatment?

That is a conversation worth having.

A Daddy’s Girl and a Mama’s Girl: Why Truth Matters to Me

I am a daddy’s girl.

And I am a mama’s girl.

I love my parents, and the values they instilled in me are central to the way I approach relationships, family, and accountability.

I don’t fuck with liars.

Male or female.

I may have a son one day. I may have a daughter.

And if God blesses me with both, I want them to understand the same fundamental principles.

My son should never be expected to surrender his dignity because he is a man.

My daughter should never be expected to tolerate abuse because she is a woman.

Both should know that telling the truth matters.

Both should understand consent, personal boundaries, and the consequences of violence.

And both should know that deliberately fabricating an accusation against another human being is unacceptable.

But there is another lesson I would teach them: an allegation that is difficult to prove is not automatically a lie.

People deserve careful investigations, not assumptions based on gender.

Women are capable of dishonesty. Men are capable of dishonesty. Women can be victims. Men can be victims.

Accountability must be grounded in conduct and evidence, not stereotypes.

That is the standard I would want for my children.

A Message to Black Mothers, Fathers, Sons, and Daughters

To Black mothers raising sons: teach your boys that their voices matter, but also teach them that emotional regulation, respect, and nonviolence are strengths.

To Black fathers raising daughters: teach your girls to recognize their worth without teaching them that accountability is something reserved for men.

To our sons: learn your rights, respect boundaries, document serious disputes lawfully, and seek qualified legal assistance when necessary.

To our daughters: never deliberately fabricate allegations, distort evidence, or use another person’s reputation as leverage in a disagreement. At the same time, never feel ashamed to seek help when someone has genuinely harmed you.

And to every parent: do not allow celebrity culture to replace your responsibility to teach discernment.

We can protect our daughters without sacrificing fairness toward our sons. We can defend our sons without silencing women who have experienced violence.

That is not a contradiction.

That is responsible parenting.

Megan Thee Stallion: Where I Stand as an Artist

I also want to address Megan Thee Stallion.

I no longer consider myself a supporter of her music or public brand.

That is my personal choice.

I am entitled to decide which artists I listen to, support, collaborate with, or incorporate into my creative direction.

I do not need to be afraid of another artist’s popularity, industry relationships, or public following to express a different opinion.

And I do not believe that supporting Tory Lanez’s lawful rights should automatically make another recording artist a target for humiliation.

There is room in hip-hop for disagreement.

There is room for independent opinions.

And there is room for women to pursue their own careers without being expected to participate in every celebrity rivalry.

I have also heard lyrical similarities that made me reflect on originality and artistic influence. However, similarities alone do not establish copying, and I am not making an unverified accusation of plagiarism.

What matters to me is protecting my own writing, masters, and intellectual property.

My pen is mine. My perspective is mine. And my career decisions are mine.

I am not seeking a personal confrontation.

I am building a platform.

And since we’re talking about Houston, let me put a little Southern humor on it:

Houston, we don’t have a problem. I’m interested in solutions—not gimmicks.

No Hot Cheetos needed, honey.

And don’t come for me miss girl. You ain’t God’s favorite like you think.

The Atlanta Campaign: Let Men Speak Without Fear

The proposed Heavy On It × 4HIO Network campaign would begin in Atlanta with a structured community program.

Its purpose would be to provide a respectful environment for men who believe their experiences have been dismissed, their reputations unfairly damaged, or their concerns overlooked.

I want men to understand that seeking help does not make them weak.

Speaking to an attorney does not make them disloyal.

Participating in counseling does not make them less masculine.

And choosing not to retaliate against someone who has wronged them does not make them powerless.

Proposed Atlanta Program

1. Men’s Voices: The Right to Be Heard

Moderated discussions where men can describe experiences involving family conflict, reputational harm, emotional abuse, or legal disputes without exposing private individuals to public harassment.

2. Know Your Rights: Legal Education

Educational sessions with licensed attorneys explaining the presumption of innocence, evidence preservation, the right to counsel, lawful appeals, and the consequences of knowingly false statements.

3. Truth, Accountability & Responsible Reporting

A discussion about why genuine victims must be able to report abuse safely and why intentional false allegations must also be addressed through appropriate legal processes.

4. Mental Health, Fatherhood & Emotional Discipline

Conversations about emotional wellness, fatherhood, conflict resolution, communication, and the importance of preventing disputes from escalating into violence.

5. Music as Expression, Not Retaliation

A creative discussion examining hip-hop, storytelling, diss records, and how artists can express difficult emotions without encouraging threats, harassment, or physical harm.

6. Community Resources & Referrals

Opportunities to connect attendees with qualified legal-aid organizations, mental health professionals, mediation resources, and family-support services.

The campaign would welcome responsible participation from women, parents, attorneys, advocates, and community organizations.

The objective is not to create an environment where men and women compete over who deserves protection.

It is to create an environment where everyone understands that the truth matters.

Heavy On It × 4HIO Network: A Proposed Creative Partnership

Nicki Minaj, this is one of the conversations I would love to explore through my broader proposed Heavy On It × 4HIO Network editorial series.

I admire the way your artistry has encouraged me to develop my voice, and I would welcome the opportunity to present a structured proposal to you, Sach, and the appropriate representatives.

The Atlanta campaign could potentially incorporate artist discussions, legal education, moderated interviews, music, and community outreach.

Any future involvement by Heavy On It, Nicki Minaj, Paper Route Empire, or another entertainment organization would depend on interest, permission, and formal agreement.

This is not about using a famous name to manufacture controversy.

It is about creating something that could be useful to people beyond the entertainment industry.

My goal is to develop a platform that respects the rights of individuals, the experiences of victims, and the responsibilities of the justice system.

AyeDNicole: I’m Heavy On It

I have never believed that becoming a recording artist means surrendering my independent judgment.

I am allowed to have opinions.

I am allowed to support lawful criminal justice reform.

I am allowed to question whether systems can be improved.

And I am allowed to choose which artists I personally support.

But I also believe that having a platform creates a responsibility to distinguish facts from opinions and advocacy from evidence.

I am heavy on truth.

I am heavy on due process.

I am heavy on protecting sons and daughters.

I am heavy on accountability for intentional deception.

And I am heavy on protecting genuine victims from violence, intimidation, and retaliation.

Atlanta, I want this conversation to be bigger than a celebrity dispute.

I want it to help a father who feels unheard.

A mother who wants to understand her son’s rights.

A daughter learning that integrity matters.

A young man who needs legal guidance before making a decision that changes his future.

And an aspiring artist who needs to understand that speaking boldly also means speaking responsibly.

Because the goal is not to replace one form of injustice with another.

The goal is to make fairness, evidence, and accountability the standard for everyone.

With conviction, respect, and Southern hospitality,
